Over our 10 day trip to Utah, I hardly brought out my camera at all. But, here is one pic that I managed to get of my Dad giving the boys a ride on one of his new "toys." The were in hog heaven!

make new friends, but keep the old...
Last weekend I was lucky enough to meet up with an old friend from high school, Kristen Duke...who, by the way, is a fab photog and also has been like a mentor to me and graciously helps me whenever I have photog/biz questions!
We met up for a few quick maternity shots (because really, I do NOT need a million images of my fat prego body floating around in the universe!) and then later on that evening for her family pics. Then I went to her photography workshop the following morning!
It was so much fun reconnecting with her IN PERSON, although blogs and facebook have made it seem like we haven't really lost touch too much. So, like the title says, "make new friends, but keep the old..." It's a song I learned when I was a Brownie! "...one is silver and the other gold..." SO TRUE!

Thanks for a fun weekend Kristen!
p.s.
To all my friends (new or old):
if you or your family come for visit to Orange County, or pretty much
anywhere in Southern California, PLEASE contact me. I'd LOVE to
see you, even if for a brief visit! I am only about 20 minutes from Disneyland,
and would be more than happy to drive to meet you somewhere. :)
THANKS!
